Rapper Gucci Mane has confirmed that Big Scarr, a 22-year-old rapper who was signed to Gucci's label, has died. Gucci confirmed the news in an Instagram post on Dec. 22, writing “This hurt — I’m a [sic] miss you @bigscarr," along with a selection of pictures of the late rapper. Alexander Woods (April 7, 2000 – December 22, 2022), better known by his stage name Big Scarr, was an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee, and was signed to Gucci Mane's 1017 Records. He was best known for his track "SoIcyBoyz", which features Pooh Shiesty, Foogiano and Tay Keith. He released his debut mixtape, Big Grim Reaper, on April 16, 2021. The tape peaked at number 25 on the Billboard 200.
When he was 16, Woods was in a car accident where he was thrown through the windshield of his friend's car. He cited his accident as the origin for his stage name, the "Scarr" part referring to the scars he obtained from the accident.

Memphis rapper Big Scarr has reportedly died at the age of 22. The musician - born Alexander Woods - was reported dead by The Shaderoom on Thursday, and his passing was confirmed by rapper Gucci Mane, whose record label, Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records, he was signed to. 
The cause of Scarr's death is unknown, and no confirmation has been given from police or local news.
