Season 2 of Bel-Air begins with Will standing at a crossroads in his life as a new person enters his life, challenging what he's learned in Bel-Air and competing for control of his influence. He handles all of this while navigating his home life with the Banks family, attempting to rebuild the trust that was broken at the end of the last season.
The 7th episode of Bel-Air Season 2 officially airs on April 6th with the title “Under Pressure”. According to the synopsis, in this episode, some external issues throw Carlton and Will off track, prevent them from fully preparing for the Founder's Award. Phillip brings the boys to the golf course to help them practice golf, as golf is also a part of the competition. Phillip also talks with Carlton about him helping Will in this competition, considering that Carlton has already had ten years' experience while Will is still struggling as a beginner. Carlton accepts it and pretends like he is fine, but he couldn't deny that this thing makes him feel insecure.
When he arrives at the meeting, each of the Founders Award nominees are already presenting their case. Will admits that he doesn't have an agenda, so he will just say according to his mind. However, Will struggles with the follow-up questions.
Carlton later accuses Will of spreading the footage. The two of them argue about this problem in front of Viv and Phil. During a conversation with his mom, Carlton admits that he might have to drop out of the competition, since his classmates have already lost their trust in him. After a long talk, he decides to make a video to acknowledge his mistake and explain about the situation.
Later, Will finds out that the real culprit here is Drew. While walking down the hallway, Will overhears Drew bragging about Carlton's humiliation during the Founders Award race. Will then confronts Drew about leaking the footage. Drew thinks that Will should thank him, and he is confident that Will can't prove that he leaked the video.
Fixing the relationship between Jazz and Hilary has become one of Will's priorities. He even goes back and forth between the couple to find out their honest thoughts and feelings, then using what he heard to give advices while pretending like he is just casually saying what is on his mind. And it eventually works, as Jazz finally texts Hilary back to arrange a date.
The two of them uses dinner together. Jazz tries to pay for the dinner, but his card is declined. Hilary ends up paying for it, which irritates him. Jazz is upset that Hilary refuses to let the waitress swipe his card again. He tells her that she would never have done this if LaMarcus were the one using dinner with her.
His out-of-the-blue remark makes Hilary angry. She calls him out on his insecurities. Since he can't seem to get past them, she decides to break up with him.
Geoffrey wants to be a part of his son's life, but he knows that the sudden appearance of a father that you haven't seen in ages could really mess things up. Geoffrey doesn't want to be selfish and turn Frederick's life upside down.
Frederick then wanders around the Banks home, where he sees pictures of Geoffrey with Will and Carlton that makes him jealous. Geoffrey wants to take him out, but Frederick tells Geoffrey that he intends to return to London, since all of these people appear to need him, and Frederick has done just fine without him. Geoffrey tries his best to persuade his son.
Phillip agrees to call a car for Frederick, but before Frederick leave, Phil tells Frederick a story about how much Geoffrey has done for him. He describes how Geoffrey makes it clear that no matter what happens with Frederick or his adopted parents, Geoffrey will always support him from afar. Now Frederick remembers the story of how even when his adopted family was at their worst, his parents still managed to take care of every single meal for him. Frederick decides to return to spend more time with Geoffrey.
