When purchasing, she didn't know the innuendo of the two donuts and hand patterns. However, when his son wore that t-shirt to school, it landed him in the dean's office for an inappropriate innuendo. Therefore, she was criticized and called a "bad mom" by people online for the shirt she bought her son for Christmas.

In the first video she shared about it, she made sure that she didn't know the meaning behind the patterns on the t-shirt he was wearing until he was well into his story and let people guess it before he explained what the shirt specifically meant to be.
So, they weren't two donuts and a hand; however, the donuts were pink and brown and the hand was holding up certain fingers to imply an old, sexual innuendo.
Her kid began his story by saying, “So I went to school with my donut shirt that you got me for Christmas,” and went on to describe how the dean of his school had enjoyed it.
“I had brought it up, I was like ‘people are all looking at my shirt, looking at me all weird and whatnot, do you like my shirt?’” he said. The dean responded, “Yeah, it’s just donuts.”

Nevertheless, the boy was not going to get away with it so easily because his trip to a different office had gone a little less smoothly than the initial one.
One of the administrators told him to "get the f—k out," and when they showed another one of the deans, they instantly understood the innuendo.
