What do you think is the most important factor in making an unforgettable movie? The plot? The dialogues? It's certainly worth a shot. What about the direction? Of course, moviegoers love it. There is also one more actual essence that makes a film reign in the minds of audiences: the iconic movie characters.
Throughout cinema history, millions of characters have been shown to us. However, some of them will live on in our memory for more than one reason. That is why filmmakers decided to remake those films numerous times. From Gossip Girl to Willy Wonka and West Side Story, they have been influenced by this movement. At the very least, we can now judge who did it better.
