Charlie, a con artist, and Emma, an undercover CIA officer, have a sensual one-night encounter, and even though their jobs are going in different ways, they end up falling in love with one other. Both Charlie and Emma will have to face the lies they've told to save themselves and their families from certain doom if they don't come clean about the deceptions they've perpetrated to get away with their crimes.
Emma is drawing closer to the vindictive criminal who holds Charlie's family debts in his hands while Charlie ramps up the "family business" to get out for good. The Korean Broadcasting System program "My Fellow Citizens" served as the program's primary source of motivation.
