In episode 15 of season 14, Detective Ellen Whiting shows up at Deeks's doorstep, disheveled and covered in blood, in need of help. She's investigating a connection between dirty cops and the fentanyl drug trade when she's framed for the death of her informant and someone starts shooting at her. Whiting turns to Deeks for help, knowing he owes her many favors for helping him out in the past.
Deeks agrees to help Whiting and gets Admiral Kilbride involved to ensure her story isn't lost in a game of telephone. Whiting reveals that her problems started after warning Roundtree about Officer McNeil's punishment, and someone told her to pressure Roundtree into dropping his official complaint against the officer. Moreover, Whiting investigates McNeil and discovers that he and some officers are stealing fentanyl from drug dealers to sell it back on the street.

In another scene, Whiting meets with Sean Turner to discuss her findings but finds him dead on the floor and is attacked by the killer. She loses her gun and goes on the run. Roundtree is initially reluctant to help Whiting but eventually agrees after Deeks reminds him that she once saved Hetty's life and was only after dirty cops.
Whiting and Roundtree follow Detective Andy Price, whom Whiting suspects is involved in the drug trade. They follow him to a meet-up with a known felon named Scot Upson, who's part of a gang known as "the Wanted." Roundtree suggests Sam go undercover in the gang's bare-knuckle fighting ring. Sam infiltrates the secret fight club and gets close to the gang leader, Odin.

But here's the good news: G. Callen will have a significant role in the remaining episodes of the season, and he's getting married to Anna! The finale will feature a fun ceremony, and we hope there are a lot of callbacks to past seasons to show Callen's evolution.
