Man Saves Stray Cat Glued To An Object And Provides Her With The Forever Home She Deserves

The little cat was in a desperate situation when a good Samaritan came across her. The rescuer had to turn to the internet for help. Fortunately, his post received a lot of attention from internet users right away, and coconut oil was suggested as a solution to help the kitten. The little cat was then given the name Coco by the rescuer as a way to keep in mind her unfortunate condition.

Meet Coco, a kitten who was glued to something by a group of rather rude children.

Fortunately, she was rescued by “ikedness”, a Reddit user. He was at a loss for what to do, so he asked the Reddit community for suggestions.

In response, a user by the name of "Com_Trad_IsTime" proposed a surprising fix: coconut oil. It had amazing results!

The small female kitten received a new name after emerging from her sticky situation: Coco. But Coco's struggles were not over yet.

Despite appearing to be around two months old, this tiny furball barely weighed a pound and started to exhibit symptoms of respiratory distress.

A veterinary visit confirmed the concerning diagnosis: she had feline calicivirus (FCV), a common but potentially fatal infection.

Coco received a number of prescriptions for medications, but her breathing problems persisted. A second urgent trip to the veterinarian was required.

She had her nasal passages cleaned and received a nebulizer treatment this time.

To everyone's relief, these steps appeared to be effective as soon as Coco began to purr and learn how to clean herself.

When the kitten's story spread to a larger Reddit audience, there was a huge outpouring of support. Many kind users offered to contribute and help with Coco's medical expenses.

Her owner clarified that Coco was only taking two medications at this time: an immune booster, and daily vitamins.

Our brave little Coco would have these companions for the rest of her life, a small but necessary price to maintain her health and vitality.

Despite the fact that she still needs to put on more weight and has a long way to go before she is fully recovered, she is making great strides!
