OP’s sons have never lived with a woman long term.
OP’s eldest son came to him and told him that he is uncomfortable of seeing his sister’s used period products uncovered in the trash can.
OP went to talk to his stepdaughter and asked is she can cover the period products of flush them down the toilet as the sons are uncomfortable.

The sons need to grow up.
