Lori Norene Cox, later known as Lori Vallow Daybell, was raised in a loving home in Southern California. Her parents, Janis Lee Cox and Barry Lynn Cox, devout Mormons, had a family of seven. Lori was the second youngest among her five siblings: Stacey Lynne Cox (1966-1998), Alexander "Alex" Lamar Cox (1968-2019), Adam Lane Cox (1969), and Summer Novelle Cox (1975). 

Her latest husband, Chad Guy Daybell, is 5 years older than her. He grew up in Springville, Utah and graduated from Brigham Young University. Both of them are followers of Chad's religious writings about the end of the world. 

Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell do not have any children together. Lori Vallow has two kids from a previous marriage, Tylee Ryan and Joshua "JJ" Vallow while Chad Daybell has 5. 

Lori Vallow has had a complex marital history, with a total of five marriages. Her first marriage took place when she was just 19 years old, as she tied the knot with her high school boyfriend, Nelson Yanes. 3 years later, she married William Lagioia and they had a son, named Colby (1996). However, they got divorced in 1998. 

At age 28, she wed Joseph Anthony Ryan Jr., and he officially adopted Colby. The couple welcomed a daughter, Tylee, in 2002 but their marriage lasted just 3 years. 

In 2006, Lori married Leland Anthony Vallow, also known as Charles, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Charles, a lifelong Catholic, had two sons from his previous marriage.

In 2013, the couple expanded their family by adopting Charles's grandnephew, Joshua Jaxon "J.J.” Vallow. However, their marriage came to an end in 2019 after Lorri said that she didn’t have feelings for him and claimed that she was the reincarnated wife of Joseph Smith.

Tragically, Charles was shot in Chandler, Arizona, just months after the divorce. Lori's brother, Alex Cox, claimed that he killed Charles in self-defense. The police did not pursue the case further, and Tylee and J.J. were witnesses to this incident.

Photos on Lori Vallow’s Instagram show that she and her daughter had an intimate relationship. Wandering on Tylee's Instagram, we see pictures of her happily spending time with her mother, whom she admired and wanted to be the one in the future.

So, everyone was shocked to know that Lori Vallow and her husband, Chad Daybell, murdered Tylee (16 y.o.) and J.J. (7 y.o.) because they completely believed that Tylee and J.J. became zombies, according to Lori Vallow Daybell Wikipedia.

In September 2020, police discovered human remains at Chad's home, initially believed to be in a pet cemetery, during a search. Chad was arrested that day on charges of evidence obstruction and later charged with felony murder.

The human remains were determined to be those of Tylee and J.J. by the Woodcock and Ryan families.

However, it wasn't until July 31, 2023 that Lori was sentenced to consecutive life terms on July 31, 2023, for the murders of Tylee and J.J., as well as a conspiracy to commit murder charges related to Tammy. Additionally, she had to pay a significant amount for the theft charge.
