Is Bull From Night Court Still Alive? Who's New Bull?

Is Bull from Night Court still alive? Coming to court is never fun unless you're going to Night Court. From its 1984 debut through its 1992 conclusion, NBC gave viewers a hilarious glimpse inside the murky depths of the Manhattan Criminal Court system. The night shift's cases were notoriously more racy and humorous than those of the day shift. Night Court was a place where anything could (and often did) happen between the hours of 5 p.m. and 1 a.m.
New episodes of Night Court began airing in January 2023, bringing with them some new cases and characters and the return of an old favorite.

The only performers to appear in every single episode of the original series were Dan Larroquette (Dan Fielding), the late Harry Anderson (Judge Harry Stone), and Richard Moll (Bull). Dan Larroquette did make an appearance in the revival episode, but Richard Moll did not. Aw, what happened to Bull, our nice and loving friend? Nothing but the truth; tell us what's going on.
Aristotle Nostradamus Shannon, better known as Bull, was brilliantly honed by Richard Moll. Despite his frequent lack of good judgment, the protagonist made up for it with a good-intentioned heart. Bull would slap his forehead when he realized he'd made a mistake, a gesture that was equal parts sarcastic and begrudging. Even after nine years of repeating the same hilarious blunders, it never grew old.

NBC has announced that Richard will not participate in the Night Court revival. The network announced on its website that "at this time, Moll does not have any intentions to resurrect his role on the new Night Court." The circumstances of his absence remain unknown, but we know that he has kept himself busy by making cameo appearances on several television series during his time away.
Richard Moll's resume on IMDb doesn't include any unnecessary hiatuses. His baritone voice may be heard in several animated series, including Superman: The Animated Series, Freakazoid!, Justice League, and many more. He also had a long run as Two-voice Face's actor on Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures.
To begin, Richard Moll's performance as Bull will never be matched. Second, the network found a fantastic new cast member for the program. A new night bailiff has been appointed, and her name is Lacretta, a comedienne and actress who will be responsible for maintaining order. Her character's name, Donna "Gurgs" Gurganous, is reason enough for us to watch the show.

Lacretta, who plays the role of bailiff on the show Night Court, spoke with Theater Mania about the enormous responsibility. Lacretta had to quit watching reruns of Night Court before her audition so that she wouldn't unconsciously imitate any of the actors. Gurgs is not Marsha Warfield, and she is not Richard Moll, therefore, I wanted to stand in my role," she explained. To paraphrase, "Once I booked it, then I was like, 'Oh yeah, now I can watch again.'"
The other bailiff, Roz, was portrayed by Marsha Warfield, and she was keen to make the part her own and not be overshadowed by Richard Moll. "I didn't place too much pressure on myself to uphold the heritage of those who came before us since I believe that to be given; it already existed. To avoid any negative effects on my sanity, I plan to ride out the storm and hope for the best." The comeback should come as a pleasant surprise to everyone, we promise.
