Evangeline Lilly, who played Quantum of Solace in The Ant-Man and the Wasp, claims that her 11-year-old son referred to her as "the worst Avenger" and rather to have seen her playing Iron Man.
Evangeline Lilly gushed during a Good Morning America interview about how much her kids enjoy Marvel films. She claimed that the target demographic for the Marvel Cinematic Universe includes her middle schooler son. She said, "He likes to flex on his friends, by being like, I know what's going on. My mom is the Wasp. No big deal,".
Lilly's son wasn't always impressed by his mother, despite her pride. "But, he’s come around because when I first became an Avenger, he was like, Mom, why do you have to be the worst Avenger? Why couldn't you be Iron Man or somebody cool like that? But, now, now that I've graduated to becoming a senior Avenger, he's like, Mom. You're cool now."

Paul Rudd portrays Scott Lang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, while Lilly plays Hope Van Dyne. The movie's heroic teams battle Kang the Conqueror, a villain, in the Quantum Realm after being sent there with their families (Jonathan Majors). The titular heroes will need to aid in mounting a revolt against the oppressive monarch while trying to discover a solution to their dilemma.
Meanwhile, Lilly is keen for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to produce a Wasp spinoff in which she would once again play the lead role. Previously, the performer made it clear that she thinks it's time for a movie on Hope Van Dyne because the role hasn't been fully explored and has the opportunity for greater action.
