In 2023, Disney had a successful year for movies, but for the first time in years, none of their films earned more than $1 billion at the global box office. However, Disney is optimistic about the coming year, with a diverse lineup of releases including theatrical releases like Inside Out 2, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, and Mufasa: The Lion King, as well as a variety of new TV shows on Disney+ and Hulu. The TV shows will start with Echo Season 1 in January and include the new Star Wars series The Acolyte and Skeleton Crew.
Unfortunately, one disappointment is that Andor Season 2, which was initially scheduled for August 2024, seems to have been postponed to 2025, leaving fans eagerly anticipating its final season. The 2024 slate also features films from the 20th Century banner, such as The First Omen and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. However, it is important to note that dates are subject to change, and Movies may be added or removed as time progresses.
