Generally, people are often afraid of raising animals with disability. They might assume that these pets require special care to acclimate to a new environment and that they probably couldn’t be engaged in some activities. Some even worry about the animal’s disposition and temperature when born with certain defects.
However, the lovely dog named Bumper will show you that disabled animals can still live their lives to the fullest. They may struggle with some specific tasks, but it’s never hard to shower people with love and affection.
This adorable pup has proven that the inability to see and hear doesn’t lead to a dull and dark life. He totally enjoyed every moment of his life with his loved people.
"We are a pretty active family and we weren't sure at first what he would be able to do, but he loves to do anything that we are doing. He loves hiking, swimming, going for runs, and riding in the kayak and canoe," Amy said. "Basically, he does pretty much anything that a dog with sight and hearing [could do]."

Bumper is born blind and deaf, but he never thinks he’s different. “I'm sure as far as he's concerned, this is normal dog existence,” Amy, Bumper’s mom, shared.Source: bumper.theluckdragon
Though he can’t see or hear anything, he enjoys every corner of the world by sniffing. One of his beloved humans is Amy’s daughter, Faeron. The duo used to be inseparable when Faeron lived at home, but she’s moved away recently. No matter how many years pass by, Bumper never forgets his beloved Faeron, and he’s always been waiting for the girl’s visits. “She lives elsewhere now,” Amy said. “But she came home for a visit. It had been a while.”Source: bumper.theluckdragon
Whenever Bumper smells Faeron’s scent, he is over the moon. The reunion is so cheerful and exciting that Amy decides to seize this moment by filming it. "It's pretty special. He loves her so much," Amy said. "He's so content when she is home visiting." See how happy he is in the video below!
