We are all familiar with pin-up pictures. While most of the world thinks about pin-ups with ladies like Page and Monroe, artist David Jablow didn't fit that bill. He challenged himself to think outside the box and created a series of incredible illustrations using a vintage doodle pad featuring a pretty suggestive base image of a woman.
In a recent interview, the illustrator revealed some information about himself and his creative ideas. "I've been drawing my entire life...it's always been one of my favorite activities, specifically cartooning and illustration," said David. "The half-drawn pin-up girls serve as the inspiration… I just imagine what they could be doing and then p out how to create the world around them." Also, the man adds that he has been working on his vintage doodle series for the past 10 years and has no plan on stopping. To the creator, each illustration is a new but familiar challenge. His work is actually worth watching, so let's check out David’s incredibly creative drawings in the gallery below. Surely, they surprise you a lot. Here we go!
