Peter Quill/Star-Lord is a character that Chris Pratt will reprise in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which will hit theaters in May. The leading man reflected on his future as Star-Lord and discussed how the role altered his life during an interview with Rolling Stone.
In a spin-off from the popular Disney+ series WandaVision called Agatha: Coven Of Chaos, he also talked about how his old Parks And Recreation co-star and on-screen spouse Aubrey Plaza joined him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

With this third film being the final Guardians picture including the present cast, Pratt feels as though the most significant film series of his budding career has come to a close.
"My entire life is different now because of Marvel, because of the Guardians Of The Galaxy,' Pratt confessed. 'It did change my life in such a way that I’ve been going nonstop ever since."
Given that he had to bulk up and get ripped before the 2013 shoot, the role also altered people's perceptions of his physical appearance. He had previously gained considerable recognition as the unfit and unwise Andy Dwyer from the smash television show Parks and Recreation (2009-2015, 2020). The Virginia, Minnesota native, 43, also commented on Plaza, 38, joining him in the MCU, characterizing her casting in Agatha: Coven Of Chaos as "full circle" as the marketing campaign for Guardians 3 ramps up.
About the information that she had joined the MCU and the superhero genre, he stated. "I love that! She's having such an amazing moment right now, which makes me really thrilled. She's so unique and talented and special. It's just great that the rest of the world is waking up to that. She was awesome in White Lotus (2022), and Emily The Criminal (2022) was great. And I think she’ll show that it’s perfect for her to be playing a witch in a coven for Marvel."

Now that they share a fictional world, it raises the question: Is there any possibility that they may ever appear together on film in an MCU project? First, the answer is based on Pratt's willingness to reprise his role as Star-Lord.
Pratt initially seems reticent to reveal too much information about his future before all the publicity surrounding this being the final Guardians movie in this edition. Also, it seemed like he was worried about giving away the outcome if the character was going to die.
"That being said, by saying that I don’t feel like I’m done, it shouldn’t go into spoiler territory. I don’t want that to be like, "Oh, well, Chris Pratt says that Peter Quill doesn’t die." That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is, even if I do die in this, there's a way to bring me back. So If you're talking about, like, practically, can Peter Quill come back? The answer will always be yes"
"Now if you're saying to me, Chris Pratt the actor, do I want to reprise my role as Peter Quill and is there mileage left in the character and do I have the bandwidth or headspace for that? I do. I'd be interested in playing the character again."

The first Guardians of the Galaxy movie made $773.3 million against a $232.3 million budget, while Vol. 2 made an astounding $863.8 million against a $200 million budget. The first two Guardians of the Galaxy movies have had tremendous success at the international box office.
In the upcoming third installment, which is being directed by James Gunn, practically the whole cast returns in addition to a few new faces. The Guardians of the Galaxy are adapting to life on Knowhere in this newest iteration as details from Rocket's background come to light. Peter Quill must take the Guardians on a risky expedition that could result in the group disintegrating in order to protect him.
