Jude Bellingham can be the best midfielder in England as well as in world football after starring for England in their victory over Senegal, says England team-mate Phil Foden. He was again shinning in England's midfield when Gareth Southgate's squad cruised to a 3-0 win over Senegal to claim their spot in the quarter-finals of the Qatar World Cup.
The teenager gained an assist for Jordan Henderson, who was on hand to finish emphatically from close range following a spectacular sweeping move in the 38th minute.
It is the latest assured turn from the Borussia Dortmund young star, who has amazed boss Gareth Southgate at this World Cup tournament. And it is also the first time a teenager has assisted in a World Cup knockout stage match for England since 1966. He was the key player at Endlag's second goal. After taking back possession, he drove forward before passing to Foden, who played in Kane and he slotted home.

Foden, who bagged England's other 2 assists in Al Khor, feels there are no limitations for the 19-year-ole after helping out to set up a quarter-final encounter with France.
"I don't want to big him up too much because he's still young," Foden said to ITV. "But he's one of the most gifted players I've ever seen.

“He has no weakness in his game. I think he will be the best midfielder in the world."

Captain Harry Kand, who finally scored his first goal in this World Cup, concurred with Foden's assessment but also offered wider praise for the winger and fellow goalscorer Bukayo Saka.

"They're brilliant," he continued. "All three of them today, having a big part in the goals, that's what we need.

"We've got a great mixture of youth and experience now. Over the years, it's not been easy for England. Credit to the boys, our mentality was top, and we took our chances when they came."

Still, Bellingham himself was soon to pay tribute to one of the team's most senior faces in Jordan Henderson, after the Liverpool man altered the former's low ball for England's opener when under pressure.
"I saw some of the rubbish written about him playing today," Bellingham said. "It's ridiculous. He's so underrated technically. He delivered again in a big game with a goal.
"The first 35 minutes were tough. They were hard to get through, but the goal was really well worked. When I get into those areas, I'm always confident the boys around me will take up brilliant positions."
Former England striker Gary Lineker also commended the 19-year-old star. “Goodness me, Jude Bellingham is unbelievably good. He’s the leader of this team. His parents must be so proud. Love him," he tweeted.

England will come back at Al Bayt Stadium on Saturday where they will face defending champions France, who has already waited for England in the quarter-finals thanks to a 3-1 victory over Poland.
