In the podcast Chicks in the Office, Bella Thorne revealed some of the "main points" in her upcoming book The Life of a Wannabe Mogul that she's proud of. "I don't talk about it in this one, but in the third book it would be the fact that I never learned how to read and I learned how to read from reading scripts," she said. "I never learned how to count and I learned how to count from counting my dad's cash. So, I'm obsessed with money and literal cash."
Although Thorne didn't go into detail about her schooling during the interview (INSIDER tried contacting her listed representation but didn't immediately hear back), she has previously been outspoken about her struggle with dyslexia, a learning impairment that may make it challenging to read. Thorne frequently discussed dyslexia while she was a network actor since her character on the Disney Channel sitcom "Shake it Up" also had the condition.

"I remember when I started first grade. Right away, it was awful because I couldn't read as well as the other kids," she stated in a Disney Channel segment. "My brain mixed up letters like 'B' and 'D' and 'M' and 'W.' Dyslexia is different for everyone who has it. For me, it just makes it harder to read or write."
During the Chicks in the Office interview, Thorne also mentioned how proud she is of herself for having taught herself to read, write, and sing. "I was tone deaf and I now own a record label and I'm signed to Sony as an artist," she declared.
"I had $200 to my name by 18 and bought a house by 19.
"I'm writing a series and got an Oscar winner to play my mom. I'm out here doing s--- that people say is impossible," she said.
Thorne has been open about her dyslexia in the past.

Thorne's book is available for presale now, with a publishing date of July 23. Thorne has recently made the news several times.
