The event will combine live-action and animated sequences. Josh Groban, dressed in an outfit that seems like something out of a fairy tale, is standing in the center of the stage and singing his heart out.
"Who doesn't want to be a Disney Princess?" "Who doesn't want to be Ariel?" H.E.R. explains what it was like to portray one of Disney's most cherished characters. Because of the amount of cooperation involved, being a part of something like this is a very unique experience. Everyone is really enjoyable to collaborate with, and there are a lot of moving elements and sections that move about. It's a one-of-a-kind endeavor that no one has seen anything like before."
Groban claims that the "hybrid" style of the program is extremely exciting, claiming that he is "learning new things for the first time in a long time." I can't wait to be uncomfortable and put to the test. The special, which was directed by Hamish Hamilton and was executive produced by him as well, was created to celebrate the fact that it has been 30 years since Walt Disney Animation Studios' "Beauty and the Beast" was the first animated feature film to receive a nomination for Best Picture at the Academy Awards®.
The producers hired several creative talents, including production designer Julio Himede, lead choreographer Jamal Sims, and costume designer Marina Toybina, to assist the actors in getting into character while they were filming to reimagine a story that has been told since the beginning of time.
H.E.R. has stated that being able to collaborate with everyone is the fulfillment of a lifelong goal. "I never in a million years would have guessed that I'd have the chance to collaborate with some of these folks, such as Josh, David, and Shania. It's wonderful! We are all from such disparate parts of the world. When I saw the costumes and the other preparations being made, I thought to myself, "Oh my gosh! This is really happening." It's starting to feel real!" Groban expresses his agreement with this sentiment, stating that "every day we're seeing another part of [the concert] start to emerge."

"Beauty and the Beast" was "probably the most fun to work on," according to H.E.R., who explains, "That was the first time [Josh and I] met in person, and we just went in, like, 'OK, what are we going to do?'" Of all the musical numbers, H.E.R. says "Beauty and the Beast" was "probably the most fun to work on." And all of us had a wonderful time. But later, when we were practicing, I realized that "Something There" was one of my absolute favorites. It's truly one of a kind in every way."
Groban describes "Something There" as a "turning point," noting that it is the moment when Beast and Belle are "sort of seeing things for the first time," looking at the surroundings they are in and getting some sunlight in their lives for the very first time. In addition, The Beast is flapping his wings and making silly faces with the baby birds. It's a tune that has a lot of charm."
