Who doesn't love having pets, right? We all love having these lovely animals in our house, and celebrities are no exception. They love animals, and many of them like sharing moments with their pets on the internet. And do you agree that it's super sweet to catch your favorite star sharing pics with their furballs? Think about Arnold Schwarzenegger—yeah, the tough guy from "The Terminator" and "Predator." But guess what? He's a total softie for our four-legged buddies. And just now, he's dropped the cutest news: he's got a new buddy, and it is a tiny pet pig!
Recently, the famous actor posted a picture of himself on Instagram holding Schnelly, his new pet pig, and his dog Cherry. “The family is growing,” Schwarzenegger wrote.

Speaking to FOX 11 program The Issue Is, Schwarzenegger explained that the pig’s name comes from the German word “Schnell,” which means “fast.”

“When we brought [him] home, [he] ran out of the house, ran all over the property, and we couldn’t catch [him],” Arnie said. His girlfriend suggested the name “Schnelly.”

Schwarzenegger once had a pet pig named "Bacon," which he claims was inspired by his Batman & Robin co-star George Clooney, who had a pet pig named Max.

“I always liked that he was into pigs; he has this little pig that he takes everywhere,” Schwarzenegger told the Columbus Dispatch in 2014. “So I bought a pig right after that. Only thing is, I must’ve bought the wrong one because, in no time, it was 300 pounds and I could barely lift the son of a gun.”

Schwarzenegger, however, has many unusual pets, including pigs, a miniature horse named Whiskey, a donkey named Lulu, and three dogs named Dutch, Schnitzel, and Cherry.

Schwarzenegger even had videos of himself spending time in quarantine with his animal companions during the pandemic, which quickly went viral afterward.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Schwarzenegger has held a variety of positions, including bodybuilding champion, Hollywood megastar, and Governor of California, but these days the 75-year-old is happiest when he is simply taking care of his pets.

“I have a good balance between work and fun… It’s so much fun to to feed the animals in the morning, all the different dynamics and all this stuff,” he told FOX 11.
