30 Gen Z Comics By Yanni Davros That’ll Knock Out Your Boredom With Intriguing Endings

Leona Martinez

The stereotype of millennials as entitled children who were given every chance on a silver platter due to their upbringing in affluence is widespread. The reality is that a large portion of millennials experiences many of the same issues as the rest of us, including difficulty in finding a job in a competitive labor market and making enough money to cover rent. Anyway, you’ll feel connected by the insightful cartoons that Yanni Davros has created for a hundred thousand fans all over the world! Gen Z comics by Yanni Davros are great to see.
Yanni is a 33-year-old professional artist living in Sacramento, California with his girlfriend Niki and his dog Sai. He loves gardening, snowboarding, cycling, vinyl records, and, especially, art. When he was 3, he practiced drawing airplanes and developed a passion for painting and comic books when he got older. He studied art at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he learned about art history and majored in sequential art. His current source of income is doing artwork for IT companies and advertising firms.
Yanni draws his ideas for his comics from the real-world events, characters, and situations that he sees around him and in his social connections. He has also been influenced by some of the absurdist comedy that was prevalent in the 1980s and 1990s movies and television. His primary sense of humor is outrageous and silly, and his visual aesthetic is influenced by newspaper comics like Calvin and Hobbes and Peanuts. He also adores Japanese cutesy art, such as the Sanrio or Tokidoki characters.
Some of Yanni’s standout topics for “Prolific Pen Comics” are boomers fighting, Millennials, Gen Z, Santa’s gifts, and shopping. His characters are all named after colors, thus there are four primary ones named Olive, Teal, Fuchsia, and Violet. Also, he created a developing cast of ancillary ps that belong to various age groups, including children, seniors, and parents. They are millennials struggling to make their way through life, each with very distinct personalities.
Yanni enjoys creating humorous comics that are sure to make people smile and nod in agreement. His four-panel comics are bizarrely astounding. The jokes are incredibly relatable because of his style of humor. Laugh out loud as you scroll down to discover 30 Gen Z comics by Yanni Davros!
