Swizz Beatz was still married to Mashonda Tifrere at the time he allegedly began dating singer Alicia Keys. After divorcing Tifrere in 2010, he married Keys the following year, and the couple had two children together.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are said to have met on the set of their 2004 film Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Fans might have embraced the rumors of their romance if Pitt hadn't still been married to
Jennifer Aniston. Pitt and Aniston divorced in 2005, and Pitt almost immediately went public with Jolie. The couple married in 2014, establishing Jolie as one of the most famous celebrity mistresses of all time. However, things are getting a little messy as they navigate the courts to finalize their divorce in 2016 and fight over custody rights to their six children.

Kevin Federline, a backup dancer for Britney Spears, was not available when he first saw the pop princess. Federline began an affair with Spears while still engaged to the mother of his two children, Shar Jackson. And within three months the two were engaged, which proved tricky because it was discovered that he was still engaged to Jackson at the time. Despite the drama, Federline married Spears in 2004, and the couple has two sons. They made headlines with their tumultuous relationship from the start, and eventually divorced in 2007, with a custody battle for their two sons quickly turning nasty.

Unfortunately for Julianne Phillips, The Boss was "born to run"... away with bandmate Patti Scialfa. According to his memoir, it wasn't until he married Phillips that he realized he was in love with Scialfa. Springsteen appears to have made a U-turn with Scialfa before officially divorcing Phillips in 1989, after nearly four years of marriage. The couple has been together for nearly three decades, proving that true love truly does endure.

Claire Danes fell in love with fellow actor and Stage Beauty co-star Billy Crudup while his current partner, actress Mary-Louise Parker, was pregnant. The press had a field day with the story, showering Danes and Crudup with negative attention. Though Crudup abandoned Parker, who was seven months pregnant at the time, for Danes, the two never made it to the altar, with Danes calling it quits after four years together. Danes later married Hugh Dancy in 2009, with whom she has two children.

The NBA player was alleged to be still married to his ex-wife Siohvaughn, who would later sue Union for marital dissolution. The lawsuit didn't go far, and Wade and Union married in 2014, even though Wade got another woman pregnant while on a break with Union, making them yet another celebrity couple who broke up, then made up for good.

However, as Roberts told Oprah, "He sorted his whole thing out, separate and apart from me. And I sorted my life out, separate and apart from him. Cibrian was married to Real Housewives of Orange County star Brandi Glanville at the time, and she was the mother of two of his children, whereas Rimes was married to Dean Sheremet. In 2011, the two filed for divorce from their partners and said "I do" 2011. The two starred in a reality show intended to put a positive spin on their love story, capitalizing on the scandal of their hookup. The show was only on for one season... Their show may have been canceled, but it hasn't affected Cibrian and Rimes' marriage, as they continue to live happily ever after.

While married to Ivana Trump, former US President Donald Trump allegedly had an affair with actress and former TV personality Marla Maples. Trump married Maples after only a few years and one divorce, and they had a daughter together. After six years of marriage, the couple divorced in 1999.

The two were suspected of starting an affair almost immediately after meeting and eventually leaving their significant others. The affair lasted throughout Charles and Princess Diana's marriage and was even rumored to be a major factor in their eventual divorce. Charles and Camilla made it official by marrying in 2005. The couple is still happily married.
