Dominic Monaghan, the British actor who played Merry the hobbit in The Lord of the Rings, is a real joker. But the crew had had enough, so they decided to get back at the joker. Once, the actor and his friend Billy Boyd (who played Pippin) got a "reworked" script with a new scene: Merry and Pippin fell out of a tree, their clothes got caught on the branches, and they had to hold each other to stay warm. The joke came out after a few awkward minutes on the way to the scene.

Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) begged to be near an actress he liked. Rickman (Severus Snape) and Gambon (Professor Dumbledore) planted a fart machine in his sleeping bag. "They waited till the camera came in for a big dramatic shot, then unleashed this noise in the great hall," Radcliffe said.

"You had the part then," director Jimmy Burrows stated.

Clooney pranked Damon on The Monuments Men. George requested the wardrobe department to take in Damon's clothes by 1/8 of an inch every few days so he might lose weight. Damon filmed in Europe but had to visit NYC often. "Every time I returned to New York, my jeans were tighter, and I thought, 'This is crazy. Damon recalls saying, "I've been working out."
