Making a movie never proceeds linearly. The producers and directors must juggle several variables that swing left and right to get everything just perfect. And although cautious preparation may help to prevent specific issues, spontaneous, positive shifts might sometimes occur. A change in actors would be one example.
They are cut from the production,14 Ac, and a new actor is given the part, even if they cannot perform it or prove unsuitable for the project's overall goals. And the substitute performers take over the roles of the current characters. Scroll down to see the list of the 14 actors who got laid off in the middle of the production.

In All the Money in the World, the actor was the first cast as oil tycoon J. Paul Getty. After Anthony Rapp accused the actor of sexual assault, the studio ultimately severed all connections with the performer.
As a result, Christopher Plummer was hired by director Ridley Scott to take over all of Kevin's sequences. He received an Oscar nomination for the part. Additionally, Spacey was let go from House of Cards, and Netflix stopped making his film Gore.

2. Kel O'Neill In "There Will Be Blood"

Contrary to claims, he wasn't dismissed after a few weeks of filming because he felt threatened by the other actors. He admitted to Vulture that he and the movie's director, Paul Thomas Anderson, just didn't get along.

He was doomed since the director intended Orlando Bloom to play the significant male part. On a Hot One episode, he admitted, "I probably wasn't disciplined enough as an actor to get myself to a position where I could do that and express it to him in a way that he felt comfortable.

When Ryan Gosling decided to put on 60 pounds to play Jack Solomon, the father in The Lovely Bones, he made the incorrect decision. Gosling admitted, "I simply came up on-site and had gotten it wrong. I was then overweight and jobless.

The woman who played the lead in the Oscar-nominated movie ran into "creative difficulties." It was between her and Nicole Holofcener, a writer. Moore said to Andy Cohen in 2019 that she was fired, not leaving the movie.
"Nicole, let me go. So, yes, it is the reality. She might not have liked what I was doing, "She went on. Actress Melissa McCarthy, nominated for an Oscar, eventually took her position.

6. Richard Gere In "The Lords of Flatbush"

Gere was fired from the movie due to tensions between him and Sylvester Stallone in the production. In an interview with Aint It Cool, Stallone claimed, "He would walk about in his enormous motorcycle jacket like he was the deadliest knight at the round table." For Gere, one specific explosion was the tipping point.
Some of the mustard-coated chicken that Richard had eaten ended up on Stallone's slacks. "I shoved him out of the car after elbowing him in the side of the head. One of us had to leave, and one had to stay, so the director had to decide."

7. Eric Stoltz In "Back to the Future"

Eric almost took the lead role in the movie instead of Michael J. Fox. Because he was too severe and organized on-site and only took direction from "Marty," director Robert Zemeckis and writer Bob Gale ultimately let him go.

8. Edward Norton In "The Hulk"

He was chosen to play the masked anarchist, but six weeks into filming, he was replaced. That is a result of his dislike of the mask. He said at the time, "Wearing that thing takes... a lot of takes. The front of Spider-Man is removed. Batman removes his mask. The elephant guy himself had eyes. Just a look is all I ask for.

13. Natalie Portman In "Romeo + Juliet"

When Leonardo Dicaprio, who was 21 at the time, was hired as Romeo, the actress was only 13 then and was cast as Juliet. She couldn't kiss the actor because it was too strange. Natalie told the New York Times, "It wasn't proper in the eyes of the film studio or the filmmaker, Baz."
