When the two people first met, Sophia fell in love at first sight with Josh's small dog, and it turned out that she lost her heart to the dog owner too. They ended up being together, with little Rocky always by their sides. Therefore, they wanted the pet to be a part of their wedding ceremony.Source: /rockydoggo
The couple assigned Rocky two tasks: being the “best pup” and the ring bearer. He was adorned with a little suit, and his permanent "blep" due to lack of teeth probably made him the most adorable “best pup” ever. The plan was to let the dog walk through the aisle and bring the couple their wedding rings. The pet owners firmly believed that Rocky would accomplish his duty as he was affectionate toward people despite his old age.Source: /rockydoggo
Sophia and Josh had a tough time persuading the “best pup” with treats so that he would walk through 80 wedding guests. Although the rehearsal was perfect, the actual ceremony did not go as smoothly. Rocky might try his best, but it was difficult not to be tempted by the thought of having treats from every person in front of him.“It took a lot of coaxing and treats to get him to walk down the aisle in front of 80 people. He did great at the rehearsal when there were no guests in attendance, but during the actual ceremony, he was a little distracted by the guests! I think he was hoping each person would give him treats," Coleman said.

Eventually, the ring bearer made it to the couple’s place and witnessed their marriage with just a little distraction. His sweet appearance and clumsy but lovely manner melted everyone's heart. The couple thought that his presence drew more attention than their wedding, so he became the highlight of their most memorable day.Source: SHANNA LORRAINE PHOTOGRAPHY
“Everyone loved seeing him in his cute little suit,” the couple stated. “When he was coming down the aisle, there was a lot of joyful laughter. He really was the star of the show!”After Rocky finished his job, the newlyweds left him at the bridal suite so that he could have some rest. Nonetheless, Rocky found his way to the reception and stayed with his owners for the whole night.

Sophia shared: “He was still in the same building as the reception, but we thought it was best if he got some rest, plus we didn't want anyone to trip over him. At one point, he did burst through the baby gate and made an escape when someone opened the bridal suite door. He immediately found my husband and me — he wanted to be by our sides the whole night!”
