They all responded that they hadn't touched the jar, which led her to suspect the manager. She didn't dare to question her boss, yet she couldn't help doubting him. Still, they assumed it wouldn't be easy to find that person, so they came up with ideas to deal with whoever had eaten the peanut butter. They deduced that person had carefreely consumed the food because he (she) did not know it was for dogs, hence the OP just needed to spread a picture with her pup licking the jar then everything would be solved itself.

While the others were giving suggestions, some people appeared to be favorably disposed toward the boss since he had permitted the OP to bring her dog over to work, which was a lot of pet owners' dreams but often got rejected. Therefore, she should present him with one more jar of peanut butter if she was sure he loved the food.
