According to the account Rich  Butterscotch850, the poster had reserved AirBnB for her, her spouse, her sister-in-law, and the sister's husband 4 months in advance. She noted that the place didn’t allow dogs, so the sister, a dog owner, promised to find a pet sitter for her dog.

However, the sister-in-law and her husband appeared at the place with her dog and tried to let it in secretly. She excused herself by explaining that she could not find a proper dog sitter. In addition, she insisted that anyone not welcoming pets was uneducated.

Before the dog owner had time to sneak the dog in, the poster and her husband left to return the key and got a full refund. Then, they decided to stay at a more affordable hotel nearby for a week.

Unfortunately, the other couple couldn’t afford other accommodation and even food. The Redditor was so angry that she ignored them completely.

The poster’s mother-in-law criticized her for leaving her sister-in-law stranded and not paying for her food. In contrast, her reaction earned applause from many Reddit users. Most people agreed with the writer that it was the sister’s fault when she didn’t respect the rules.

Some claimed that the sister-in-law had lied as finding a pet sitting site was not a difficult task in a long time of 4 months.

Many others also doubted whether the in-law couple lacked money for food when they could afford gas to drive a long distance.

Additionally, Redditors advocated the poster’s honesty as she didn’t engage in her sister-in-law’s trickery.
