30 Times Famous People SLAMMING Body-Shamers

If you haven't already noticed, no two persons look the same. So, why do people believe they have the right to disgrace someone else's body? In a world where everything is digital, it's easier for someone to bully others while hiding behind a screen. The scrutiny (both external and internal) may be relentless, and if you are a star who is always in the public eye—with paparazzi following your every move and harsh criticisms coming from all sides—it is arguably much more intense. celebrities are frequently the target since they are always in the public eye—but many of them used their experience of being body shamed as an opportunity to speak out against the haters.
These are a few strong, badass A-listers who have spoken out against body shaming and stood up for themselves and everyone else.

#1 Lizzo

In 2020, a TikTok user said to a family, "Your son really needs to go and at least workout, he's going to be the next Lizzo if he doesn't."

The family, @uploads of fun, saw this as a big compliment and responded with an excited TikTok video.
Lizzo responded to the joyful family with a TikTok video with the proper comment to answer the internet troll. "Oh, you mean the next million-dollar-dealin', Vogue cover-havin', 3x Grammy Award-winning icon, actress, activist, and gorgeous ass?"

#2 Ariana Grande

In a now-deleted tweet from 2015, some loser said, "I was asked if I preferred Ariel Winter or Ariana Grande. It would undoubtedly be Ariel. Curves are appealing. Sticks, however, are not."

On Twitter, the singer responded to the skinny-shaming by stating, "We live in a time when individuals make it IMPOSSIBLE for women, men, and anybody else to accept themselves precisely as they are. Diversity is appealing! It's sexy to love yourself! What isn't seductive? Objectification, labeling, comparing, and body shaming!"

#3 Jennifer Lopez

The singer told E! in 2016 that she was pressured to lose weight early in her career. "They kept telling me that I needed to reduce weight. I was a dancer and an athlete, and even my manager at the time — with whom I no longer work — told me, 'You need to reduce weight.' You need to lose weight.' "She remembered.

#4 Jonah Hill

The Daily Mail published a photo of the actor shirtless on the beach early last year. Jonah wrote in a stunning Instagram post, "Even in front of family and friends, I don't think I ever took my shirt off in a pool until I was in my mid-30s. It would have probably happened sooner if my early concerns hadn't been amplified by years of public ridicule of my physique by the press and interviewers."

"So the concept that the media tries to play me by monitoring me while browsing and printing images like these, and it can't [faze] me anymore is dope," he added. "I'm 37 years old and have finally learned to love and accept myself."
Later that year, Jonah also asked people to stop remarking on his body on Instagram. "I'd want to politely inform you that it is not helpful and does not feel nice," he wrote.

#5 Selena Gomez

Throughout 2015, the singer was subjected to relentless body-shaming. A commenter on one of her Instagram images remarked, "You must exercise! Please refrain from consuming junk food." They added in a second comment, "She's an actor, so she needs to tone up. Unfortunately, appearance is crucial in business."

The actress was heavily chastised for gaining weight throughout both of her pregnancies. She discussed her postpartum p in a 2013 interview with Redbook, saying, "I refused to be concerned about something I couldn't change, and I continue to refuse. I had to accept that not caring about how I looked or how much I weighed was part of the process of having a kid. I am not a lady whose self-esteem is determined by her clothing size."

Did she consume all of her backup singers?" She stated in the second, "That is not baby weight, darling, if you had a baby a year ago. It is chubby. Stop giving it charming titles just to make yourself feel better."

Kelly responded to Katie's unkind statements during an interview with Heat: "She said something negative about me on Twitter? That's because she's unfamiliar with me. I'm fantastic! It makes no difference to me."

Sarah has kidney dysplasia, which means her kidneys did not grow normally when she was in the womb. She disclosed in a 2018 interview with Self that her body began rejecting her initial kidney transplant toward the end of 2016. She began dialysis, which resulted in a severe weight loss, and she received a second kidney transplant in 2017.
She added in a lengthy Twitter message, "I dislike the concept of 'being skinny.' Which many of you have said I am far too much of. 'Eat a burger,' he says, 'because your head is bigger than your body, and that's awful.' And you are correct! I really should eat a burger! Because they're freaking delectable! [...] However, because I've been on bed rest for the previous few months, I've lost a lot of muscular mass. My circumstances have placed me in a position where I have no control over the appearance of my body."
She went on, "Your remarks have done nothing to boost my self-esteem. Because I will always be overweight. I'll always be too thin. I'll never have enough curves to call myself a lady. I'll always be a slacker for wearing a push-up bra. Admire the person you set out to be."
