Young Chrissy Dewitt was played by Ashleigh Aston Moore. Following the release of Now and Then, she appeared in the films The Grave and A Friend's Betrayal. Her last appearance was in 1997. Christina Ricci, 40, featured in Casper the same year she played young Roberta. She later co-starred in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp. She was praised for her portrayal in the 2003 drama Monster. Gaby Hoffmann, 38, played Samantha Albertson's adolescent counterpart. Gaby had a handful of cinematic roles in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
