10 Celebrities Who Became Fathers A Bit Too Soon

Being a father is a life-changing and exciting event for the majority of men. When you're young and find out you're going to be a parent, fear is probably the dominant feeling that takes over. Teen pregnancy may not be as common as it once was, but it is still a reality for many people, even celebrities.
Being a father is one of the most gratifying jobs a man can have, but it can also be hard at times. That's why it's so tempting to idolize celebrities who became fathers at a young age. It's likely that some of the guys on this list were not fully prepared to become parents, but plenty stood up and supported their baby moms, becoming the types of fathers who win respect and adoration.
The following are 10 prominent fathers who became parents a bit too soon.

#1 Louis Tomlinson also welcomed his first child at the young age of 24.

Tomlinson and his ex-girlfriend, Calabasas-based stylist Briana Jungwirth, have a six-year-old kid named Freddie Reign Tomlinson.
Although Tomlinson keeps his relationship with his kid largely private, the 30-year-old former One Direction member says he tries to see him as frequently as possible.

#2 Will Smith recalled his emotions after he and his ex-wife Sheree Zampino brought home his first child when he was 24 years old.

Smith and Zampino married between 1992 and 1995. In 1997, Smith married Jada Pinkett Smith. Jaden Smith, 23, and Willow Smith, 21, are the couple's children.
Trey Smith, Smith's first kid, is now 29 years old and remains active in his father's life. He even attended his father's historic Oscar win in 2022, although keeping a low profile in comparison to his renowned siblings.

#3 David Beckham was just 23 years old when he and former Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham welcomed their first child.

Despite being one-half of one of the 1990s' most powerful couples, Beckham stated that parenting was always something he desired from a young age.
David and Victoria Beckham had three more children after Brooklyn, now 23: Romeo James Beckham, 19, Cruz Beckham, 17, and Harper Seven Beckham, 10.

#4 LeBron James became a father with his high-school sweetheart Savannah Brinson at the age of 19. The couple went on to have two more children.

Bryce, their second son, was born in 2007. Despite the hardship of having a kid at such a young age, James and Brinson stayed together and married in 2013, followed by the birth of their first daughter, Zhuri, in 2014.
James has been candid about his upbringing. The basketball legend, who was born to an absent father and a 16-year-old mother, recounted how his relationship with his parents motivated him to be a better father to his own children, notably his oldest child Bronny.

#5 Charlie Sheen welcomed his first child with his high-school sweetheart Paula Profit in 1984, when Sheen was just 19 years old.

Cassandra Jade Estevez, Sheen's oldest child, is now 37 years old. Estevez has generally stayed out of the spotlight, though she was pictured on her wedding day walking down the aisle with her famous father. Luna, Sheen's first and only grandchild, is also her daughter.

#6 Lamar Odom welcomed his first child, Destiny Odom, when he was a freshman basketball player at the University of Rhode Island.

All three of Odom's children are shared with his ex-girlfriend Liza Morales, whom he dated before marrying Khloe Kardashian in 2009. Odom and Kardashian dated for about a month before marrying in a lavish wedding ceremony.

#7 Machine Gun Kelly has a 12-year-old daughter who he fathered with his ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon when they were both 18.

Though Kelly, now 31, is best known for his daring red carpet style with fiancée Megan Fox, he has also made countless red carpet appearances with his daughter Casie Colson Baker.
Casie's mother is unknown, as she has remained out of the public since the pair divorced years ago, but the musician did wish her a happy Mother's Day in 2013.

#8 Rod Stewart fathered his first child, Sarah Streeter, with ex Susannah Boffey in 1963 when he was 17. The couple then placed the child up for adoption.

Following the death of Streeter's adoptive parents, the famous musician reconciled with his daughter years later. Stewart, 77, is also the father of seven more children.

#9 Rapper Lil Wayne fathered his first child with his high-school girlfriend Toya Johnson when he was just 16.

Reginae Carter, Lil Wayne's only daughter, and oldest child, went on to become a film and television personality. She has nearly 6 million Instagram followers.
Lil Wayne, born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., was married to Johnson from 2004 to 2006. Carter's marriage was his only one, however, he went on to have three additional children with three separate women.

#10 Karamo Brown learned he had a 10-year-old son after his high-school girlfriend subpoenaed him for child support.

Brown stated that he discovered he had fathered a child after receiving a subpoena for child support in the mail.
Brown then obtained full custody of his son Jason, now 24, and adopted Christian, Jason's younger half-brother, who is now 20.
