8 Warm Actors Whose 'Donations' Will Make You Open-Mouthed

Some people may wonder why Hollywood actors get paid millions of dollars for a single part. Of course, they have a lot of skills, but more than that, their renown can earn a film studio a lot of money.
Not only do people go to the cinema to see movies, but they also go to see their favorite actors and actresses perform on the big screen. Also, film stars can promote their Movies through social media in ways that a film company would need to invest millions of dollars in advertising expenses.

1. Jennifer Lopez

Despite her status as a worldwide superstar, Jennifer Lopez did not get any advance payment for her role in Hustlers. She explained, "I didn't get paid a great deal of money for Hustlers. I produced and starred in it but got bonuses from the movie's revenues. It was a free service, and I developed it myself. In the words of Jenny from the Block: "I do what I love."
"This is our movie, where we rule everything," the actress explained. They are aware that it was created, directed, written, and starred entirely by women. It was refreshing to see the roles reversed on screen after decades of witnessing males exploit female characters.

2. Keanu Reeves

Reeves was offered several million dollars to star in The Devil's Advocate. To get Al Pacino as his co-star, though, Reeves gave up a large portion of his fortune. Why? Because he desperately wanted to appear beside the legendary actor and couldn't care less about the pay difference.

Ryan Reynolds insisted that screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese be there throughout the production of Deadpool. He had worked with the cast and crew for six years before the film's production. The studio balked at footing the bill for their wages, so Reynolds picked up the tab personally.

Jonah Hill took a pay cut because he wanted to collaborate with Martin Scorsese on The Wolf of Wall Street. He earned only $60,000 for his participation in the film, whereas Leonardo DiCaprio earned an estimated $10 million.
In other words, I got the smallest sum of money feasible from them. That was their offer, so I told them, "I will sign the document tonight." Send the papers through fax tonight. I'm hoping they will sign tonight before they have second thoughts. "Before I go to sleep tonight, I want to sign them so they can't legally change their mind," the actor said.

5. Will Smith

Will Smith reportedly got $40 million for his lead role in King Richard. The remainder of the actors lost their theatrical release incentives when the studio elected to broadcast the film on HBO Max instead. As a result, the actor decided to pay them a generous sum out of his pocket. Actors Saniyya Sidney, Demi Singleton, Tony Goldwyn, Jon Bernthal, and Aunjanue Ellis were among those who received money from him.

6. Brendan Fraser

The actor appeared in the 2013 film Gimme Shelter, which dealt with themes of homelessness and abandonment. Fraser gave his full paycheck to a group called Several Sources Shelters after the film wrapped. The real-life shelters were the inspiration for the film, and James Earl Jones, one of the film's stars, was so moved by the good deed that he gave a sizeable chunk of his own pay to the same cause.

Many were unhappy with the young actor's feature selection in Woody Allen's A Rainy Day in New York. The film was finished, and the actor afterward chose to give his whole paycheck to three organizations, one of which is an LGBT community center. "I don't want to make money from the picture," he remarked. I'm a young actor who wanted to follow in the footsteps of admire performers. Thus I accepted this part.

Co-star Sienna Miller spoke up about how Chadwick Boseman ensured she got paid what she was worth after his death, saying, "This was a relatively big-budget picture, and I know that everybody understands the pay difference in Hollywood, but I requested for a number that the studio wouldn't get to." "I'll do it if I'm rewarded correctly," I responded. In the end, Chadwick gave me a portion of his income to help me reach my goal. He justified it by saying it was the least he could do for me.
The actress said, "It's unthinkable to picture another male in that town behaving that gracefully or politely. When I tell that tale to my male actor friends, they all go very quietly and retreat to their homes, where they will, no doubt, sit and reflect for a time.
