Even if they have questionable morals, audiences are more likely to support likable heroes. Take Loki as an illustration. Many people have fallen for this individual's attraction even though he may not be a lovely and kind person. We revisited several classic movies to determine whether or not our fictitious heroes lived up to the expectations we had created for them.
1. Jane In Jane Eyre

Regarding love stories, Jane Eyre is right up there with the best of them. Poor Jane has the sympathy and admiration of all who meet her because of her poise and decorum. She dared to leave the man who loved her most due to her pride. When Jane's life changed dramatically and she found herself unexpectedly affluent, she abandoned her values. Her self-centeredness led to her own and everyone else's demise. Lucky for everyone involved, the tale ended happily.
2. Susan In Desperate Housewives

Susan's awkwardness isn't necessarily endearing to the audience. She acts nave and naive, yet her motivations are entirely self-serving. She even captured the spouse of one of her pals. Not everyone in the series is without flaws, but Susan, in contrast to Gabrielle, makes an effort to appear lovely. User-generated content suggests that Susan is the most self-centered personality on the show. They don't get how anyone could consider befriending her. She constantly puts her spouse, friends, and kid in charge of solving her issues. And yet, she constantly whines and needs rescuing.
3. Gandalf In The Lord of the Rings

According to the legend, Gandalf is a strong, intelligent wizard who can defeat any threat. However, his hobbit companions continue encountering difficulties on their travels with him. It's also important to note that Gandalf was responsible for sending halflings on two perilous expeditions. The magician kept several secrets from his traveling companions. Also, as the mood strikes him, he conducts good and bad deeds with his ability. The old man seems to be peeved at Bilbo, Frodo, and Boromir alike.
4. Poirot In Agatha Christie’s Poirot

Unlike his contemporaries, Sherlock Holmes and Mycroft Holmes, Hercule Poirot is known for being a gentlemanly, attentive, and brilliant investigator. Some of his readers and viewers, however, find him quite irritating. Sitting next to the detective is always unpleasant since he never spills the beans until the end of the narrative. Furthermore, he is manipulative, teasing, and condescending toward others, especially Hastings.
5. Winnie-the-Pooh

Many people find Winnie-the-Pooh, who is generally pleasant, irritating. Do not look to this bear for exemplary behavior. Nothing changes about him; he simply keeps eating and making trouble for his pals. He'll do everything for a jar of honey, but he has a terrible time controlling his feelings and frequently makes Piglet's life difficult. Others attribute Winnie-the-mental Pooh's instability to him.
6. Belle In Beauty and the Beast

However, many claim Belle is the worst princess ever. She doesn't help out around the house by reading while others are working and even pokes fun at her inventor father. In most situations, she is a slob who expects guys to take care of her every whim. She has no concept of interpersonal relationships and cannot follow her norms. Belle has zero regard for the personal space of others. She still sneaks into the off-limits section of the castle after he warns her not to is evidence of her insatiable curiosity.
7. Anne In Anne with an E

Though she's only a kid when the series begins, viewers quickly get frustrated with Anne's immaturity. She is unpleasant, dismissive, and insensitive to others' feelings and avoids confronting difficulties. Anne needs to mature and outgrow these juvenile pursuits. However, Anne's babyish behavior persists even in the last episodes.
8. Assane In Lupin

The protagonist is presented as a gentleman robber who can pull off elaborate heists while leaving no evidence for the police to follow. Not only does he adore his son, but he would do anything to protect him. In contrast to his willingness to regularly pay child support, he spends a lot of money on the tools necessary for his illicit activities.
