Friends Disgustedly Said This Mother Was A Jerk For Telling Her Husband To Save Her Life Over The Baby's

"My friends were disgusted with my thinking and said that I was an a**hole to my husband in asking him to basically kill his baby (those were the exact words), that I was a very negative person, and that I needed to rethink my thoughts." Here is what a woman said in her story posted on the r/AmItheAsshole subreddit to ask people whether those things are true and whether she was really a jerk for telling her husband to save her life over the baby's.
Of course, pregnancy is frequently depicted as this amazing experience: You feel feminine; you’re connecting with your baby; you feel the changes in your body. But not everyone has that feeling. It takes effort. Your body is in overdrive. You never stop being exhausted. Your breasts are out of control. And you continuously feel ill, achy, and uninspired. In addition, giving birth is not easy. It is considered the most painful procedure, and it can occasionally be harmful to both the mother and the unborn child. And there are certainly challenging times when it can be necessary to make a decision on who to keep alive while giving birth. There are no easy answers. However, regardless of your decision, everyone is ready to judge.
This mother approached the AITA community with a very delicate subject she wanted to discuss. She explained how she had pleaded with her husband to put her life above the life of her unborn child before going into labor. Thankfully, everything went smoothly during the delivery, and everyone is OK. But she remained confident that her decision was the best one for her. Redditors asserted that she was completely right, while her pals felt she was a jerk. How about you?
