Marketers are always seeking new ways to cash in on a musician's popularity, and fans can't wait for their next song or album. It would be easy to assume that these famous people have had comfortable lives and have never worked odd jobs.
Regarding their massive careers, it's safe to assume that most artists have led upstanding lives. They put in long hours, didn't sleep much, and didn't care whether producers thought they were any good. In contrast, some famous singers got their start as strippers. Some people regret such times, while others see them as pivotal turning points in their development.

Although her acting career was brief, she reportedly made $400 for a single movie appearance (for which she insisted on being paid in cash).

This is not, however, the full backstory of where she came from. When Eve was around 18 years old, she had to start working as an exotic dancer to help support herself and her family. Even though her rapping career lasted two months, the rapper has never been shy about discussing it.
Eve told Rolling Stone in an interview from 1999 that stripping was just a "hustle" like any other. On her album titled "Heaven Only Knows," she even released a song about it. She claims that employment was essential in discovering "Eve" when she was young and struggling.

She was not lacking in self-assurance, and she claimed that her strong libido and appreciation of the nude contributed to her outgoing character. You already knew that she wore black leather and danced to rock 'n' roll as part of her performance, but it bears repeating.

At age 23, she gave up dancing to focus on her career as a rap superstar. She just wed fellow artist Offset and has not stopped talking about her troubled background.
