There's a reason why the cliché of the tall, dark, and beautiful man exists. Unfortunately, our height is yet another aspect of our appearance that may cause us to experience feelings of inadequacy due to societal expectations. And while this primary criterion may be rather attractive for some people, for others, it might add to feelings of uneasiness. Because of this, it is reassuring to see prominent individuals of varying heights finding love without letting something so trivial stand in their way.
Some of these renowned ex-couples and current couples have a male as the taller spouse, which is often seen to be more "acceptable" in straight pairings by society as a whole, whilst other partnerships contain a woman as the taller partner.
1. Josh Hutcherson

The key actors in The Hunger Games were not the same height, yet this was never noticeable on screen because to the filmmaking team's skillful camerawork. Josh Hutcherson is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, whereas
Jennifer Lawrence is 5 feet, 9 inches tall in reality. He is comfortable with his height and makes light of it in interviews.
2. Robert Downey Jr.

Several images in Iron Man may be a little unclear if you know the actors' actual heights. Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow are 5 feet, 9 inches tall, but Tony Stark is significantly taller than his helper. In addition, she spends the whole of the movie walking about in a pair of heels. The filmmakers had to work very hard to make Robert Downey Jr. appear taller than he was. He wore his shoes backward, and we know that Guy Ritchie did the same thing when filming Sherlock Holmes.
3. Ingrid Bergman

Looking closely, you'll see that Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogart's height gap fluctuates throughout Casablanca. The problem is that the filmmaker was trying to cover up the fact that Bergman towered above Bogart in the film. Bogart sat on boxes and cushions while Bergman slouched in other moments so that they would appear to be doing the reverse of what they were.
4. Scarlett Johansson

Marvel Universe go through significant physical transformations. Before he underwent his metamorphosis, Captain America seemed much smaller and thinner. Evans would have looked better with a taller Scarlett Johansson. She is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, whereas her boyfriend, Evans, is 6 feet tall.
5. Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus appears slightly shorter than Liam Hemsworth in The Last Song. This height disparity is far more than it seems on video. Cyrus stands at 5 feet, 5 inches, while Hemsworth towers over him at 6 feet, 312 inches.
6. Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon is nearly often included in tabloid articles about famous people who are on the shorter side. She only measures 51 inches in height. Rob Pattinson was her coworker on the set of Water for Elephants. The film's camerawork was superb, especially considering the performers' towering height disparity (Pattinson is 6 feet, 1 inch in real life).
