A woman caused outrage on Reddit after she shared her story on r/AmItheAsshole. She had a senior dog named Bailey who did not get along well with puppies. "Bailey has been attacked by other dogs a few times and doesn’t like other animals," she shared.
However, she neglected Bailey to adopt a new puppy because the elderly dog had less energy and puppy-style cuteness. When the woman's daughter knew what she did, she was pissed at her. She also mentioned how the new puppy had seriously injured her in a really bad way. Keep scrolling to read the details of the story!
The woman felt she was not wrong for letting her puppy injure her daughter without exercising corrective training and favoring her puppy over her elderly dog, so she went on Reddit to ask for advice. After reading her post, everyone agreed she was the asshole and sided with the daughter.

She then edited the post, (Edit: people kept asking about the separate thing. It’s not accurate but I’ll tell you all anyway. My daughter and I go to therapy because she thinks I “abandoned” her. When her father and I divorced I lost my job and was very depressed so I went no contact with her for a few years. When I was in a stable relationship and had somewhere to live I brought her and my son to stay with me, my husband and my stepchildren. My son and my step kids caught on like a house on fire but she has always resented me. She never takes into account how my mental health was and that it’s wasn’t a fun vacation away from her but I wasn’t in a good place)Source: u/Jazzlike-Job-6315
