Chip And Dale Are Back In The First Trailer For ‘Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers’

After over 30 years, "Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers" has returned for a new feature on Disney+. However, the new film seems to take a radically different approach for the famed couple, as it appears to be a live-action/animated action-comedy, rather than the animated series' original format.

In "Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers," Chip and Dale are living in modern-day Los Angeles, surrounded by both cartoons and humans. But their lives are very different now. Chip (voice of John Mulaney) has settled into a life of suburban domesticity as an insurance salesman, while Dale (voice of Andy Sandberg) has had CGI surgery and is desperate to relive his glory days. But when a former castmate mysteriously vanishes, Chip and Dale must mend their broken friendship and take on their Rescue Rangers detective personas once again to save their friend’s life.

Considering how popular the original Chip 'n Dale was, it's understandable if fans aren't enthusiastic about this new version. After all, it was still a fantastic film in its own way. And if the new Chip 'n Dale lives up to expectations, it could attract a whole new generation of fans.
