Bus Driver Breaks Rules To Let Shivering Dogs On The Bus During Thunderstorm

The city of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, was hit with a huge thunderstorm. The storm was terrifying for most animals, especially for abandoned and homeless animals on the streets. Unlike house pets, they don’t have a warm house to snuggle up in and are stuck in the cold and hard streets. It’s a heartbreaking sight to see.

Thankfully, there are still many kind-hearted people who are willing to help these poor animals. And the bus driver in this story is one of them. When the driver spotted two stranded dogs drenched in cold rainwater during his shift, he opened the door and let the shivering dogs onto his bus.

The city doesn't allow animals onto public transportation, except for assistance animals. But when the bus driver saw the stray dogs shivering in the middle of a thunderstorm, he didn't hesitate to break the rules and let them on board. He even comforted and spoke to them like they were his own dogs.

His action sent passengers in tears! They snapped and shared many photos of the dogs during their ride on social media. They hoped that someone was interested in helping, fostering, or adopting these stray dogs. Needless to say, the photos of his kind act have gone viral and melted everyone's heart.

The bus driver might lose his job because of breaking the rules, but thankfully, the bus company showed great support for what he did for the dogs. They explained that in these exceptional circumstances they would not have punished the drivers' actions and have instead praised them.

"You can't take animals on public transport. We are usually strict on this, but this is a special case and a show of solidarity," the company shared.

Nobody knew what happened to the dogs after the thunderstorm has settled down, but his act of kindness to them has won the hearts of thousands of internet users. We hope that the stray dogs are now safely rehomed.
