What Do Our Favorite Cartoons Look Like In Other Countries?

Every child's childhood is incomplete without cartoons. This genre is certainly the most popular Entertainment for children, and everyone has a favorite cartoon. However, certain movie scenes that are interesting in this country can be offensive in others, or something that’s humorous in that country can be boring in the rest of the world. Therefore, filmmakers frequently "modify" the details or characters of their films in a variety of ways to better suit audiences and their cultures.
For example, the Russian version of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" has a different storyline from the Disney version. In "The Tale of the Sleeping Princess and the Seven Knights", an evil queen attempts to ruin her step-daughter who takes refuge in the forest... But instead of seven dwarfs, the Princess meets seven handsome warriors.

"Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp" (1982) told the story of a young man with a magical lamp (and a magical ring) who wins a princess' heart. Some people say that the Disney movie may have been influenced by the Japanese film.

In the Indian cartoon, the bold red-haired beauty isn't the main character. However, after Pixar released a similar narrative, the film was famous.

"The Tale of the Sleeping Princess and the Seven Knights" was an animated film by the Soyuzmultfilm animation studio in 1951. "Cinderella" is one of the most recounted fairy stories in the world. In Russia, Cinderella's name is Zolushka, and her father is still alive.

American audiences are used to Disney's "The Jungle Book" but few know the Soviet adaptation, created in 5 parts at almost the same time as "The Jungle Book". Both cartoons were incredibly successful, with high ratings on international best-of lists.

"Jungle Emperor Leo" appeared on TV screens in 1965 and the lion king is called Kimba. Following the debut of "The Lion King", several fans began discussing the similarities between the two cartoons.

In the Brazilian cartoon "Ratatoing," the audience can see a story about rats and cookery. Mice appear in the roles of chefs, restaurant patrons, and even criminals attempting to discover the "Ratatoing" restaurant's secret ingredient.

Those who are familiar with "Cars" are unlikely to discover anything new in the Brazilian adaptation. The cartoon's look of four-wheeled characters, narrative, and even name are all remarkably similar to the original.

In a similar vein to Finn and Jake, "The Legend of Lucky Pie" is an animated series about an owl-like child and a talking horse who embark on adventures with a mermaid princess.
