Spider-Man: No Way Home, the highly anticipated superhero movie produced by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, is still in theaters continuing the storyline of Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the MCU and delivering gigantic and exciting surprises to fans of the famous Spidey.
Following some leaks, Sony has decided to bring forward the home video edition of the film - which has been released digitally all over the world today and on April 12 it will arrive in Blu-Ray, DVD and 4K Ultra HD.
For the occasion, a featurette dedicated to some of the Easter eggs in this new blockbuster has now been released online. It confirms a tribute to Kraven the Hunter and, above all, the inspiration created by Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 in a very specific scene: the apartment of Peter Parker at the end of the film is very similar to the one Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man moved into.
Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: No Way Home was released in theaters on December 15, 2021. The cast of the film includes Tom Holland (Peter Parker / Spider-Man), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), Zendaya (Michelle "MJ" Jones), Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson), Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan) and Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange).
The movie also features the returns of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as other Spider-Men, Willem Dafoe as Norman Osborn (the villain of the first Spider-man movie), Jamie Foxx as villain Electro (previously seen in The Amazing Spider-Man 2) and Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus (Spider-Man 2 antagonist). The rest of the cast includes Arian Moayed and Paula Newsome.
