The Spanish grandma started using Microsoft Paint to produce paintings 12 years ago upon receiving a Windows 7 computer from her grandchildren as a gift to help her spend the free time after the passing away of her husband.

Previously Zaera had enrolled in art classes but she couldn’t continue because she was unable to stand the scent of the paints. While toying with the pre-loaded applications on her PC, Zaera discovered Microsoft Paint and began to learn the ropes by herself.

And that was the moment the grandma found out she wouldn’t have to stand the harsh odor of paints to produce artworks.

The creative woman never turned her head backwards ever since. Mainly influenced by the beauty of her hometown, she is also inspired by other picturesque scenes on postcards and several drawings.

In 2017, one of her granddaughters convinced her to create an Instagram page where she can show her Microsoft Paint art to the world. She has created more than 150 digital paintings and you can find her entire collection on Instagram.
