Mind-Bending Images From Spanish Photographer Will Grant You A Different Perspective Of This World

Larry Campbell

If you are a fan of photography and optical illusions, then Chema Madoz’s photos are the perfect offer for you. Perspective was, is, and will always be, a wonderful thing. There are moments that people are just able to candidly praise something by doing their comparisons themselves, with such slightly altered parameters, including location, age, or time, for instance.

The pics from this Spanish photographer cast a brand-new light on our perception towards everything around us, from the view of a ‘trail of time’ to the ‘eye candy’. We’re reminded that even the simplest things can be exceptionally beautiful, should we give them a different viewpoint. And there are always extraordinariness among the most mundane objects.

“The fact is that I don’t give any thought to the reaction they’ll cause in the viewer, I look for images that move me and touch me, that make me feel that I’m doing something different which I wasn’t aware of. I want to be able to stand in front of my pictures and feel that I can communicate with them. If a picture says something to me, I feel confident that there may be other people who will experience the same thing,” said Madoz.

Madoz’s distinctive photography style isn’t overloaded with irrelevant clusters and details. His pictures are always in black and white, with a witty catch in each. By blending two seemingly unrelated aspects that have at least one visual feature in common, or by putting an object in a visually unexpected setting, the artist is able to create such element of surprise.
