Ryan Reynolds Updates On "Deadpool 3", Hoping To Reveal More In The Future

After the purchase of 20th Century Fox by The Walt Disney Company, the film rights to X-Men, Fantastic Four and Deadpool have gone into the hands of Marvel Studios, which will proceed with a reboot to include the characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Merc with a Mouth will be the only character to remain intact, thanks to the huge popularity of the antihero and the face of Ryan Reynolds.

In recent months, President Kevin Feige has confirmed that Deadpool 3 will be off-limits to minors and will be part of the MCU, ultimately silencing rumors that claimed otherwise.
During a recent interview with Collider, the star of the franchise, Ryan Reynolds himself has also returned to briefly update the progress of the third Deadpool film - the first to be produced by Marvel Studios and which will be part of the MCU.

“We pretty much talk about everything, but I'll say this about that particular subject is I'll have a batch of updates on that sooner rather than later, I hope. So I'll be able to get into stuff about Deadpool a little bit more clearly and definitively down the road,” he said.

Deadpool 3 will hit theaters on February 16, 2024 as a part of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie will star Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson aka Deadpool with a script written by Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin.
