According to the Walt Disney World Resort's website, guests who have been fully vaccinated will not be forced to cover their face since Feb 17, 2022.
Although outdoor face coverings finished in summer 2021, indoor maskings remained the rule at the resort through early 2022. In specific, it was informed that wearing face masks was required for all those aged 2 and up in all indoor areas, regardless of their vaccination status until Feb 16, 2022.
"This includes pon entering and throughout all indoor attractions and indoor queues and in Disney buses, monorail and Disney Skyliner, regardless of vaccination status." But it would be optional for guests in outdoor locations.
Because of "recent trends and regulatory guidance", Disney says that they will begin easing health and safety protocols. So, what does this change mean for those who visit Walt Disney World? It means that guests who are vaccinated now can choose to have their faces covered or not whether at indoor or outdoor locations. However, if they go on the bus, monorail, Skyliner, or any other transportation, they still are required to wear a face mask.
