15 Fantastic Illustrations Of Disney Princesses Dressed In Traditional Filipino Attire

Margot Nolan

Disney princesses have been idols for children all around the world, with ethnicities ranging from North America to Europe and East Asia. Many young girls admired the lovely princesses not just for their gorgeous appearance but also for their compassion, cleverness, and bravery. Greco Archibald, a Filipino artist, acknowledges the princesses' importance and wants to give them a more local touch. Trust me, what he did will surely surprise you!
With his extraordinary artistic talent, Greco recreated Disney princesses in traditional Philippine costumes - Baro't Saya. Our favorite Disney beauties are already extremely beautiful in their gorgeous gowns, but when they put on the traditional Filipino attire, their beauty even multiplied! This brilliant artist once shared: "I wanted to showcase the traditional outfits that we have in our country, not only the Filipinianas; but also a few of the indigenous outfits". What's an amazing purpose, isn't it?
Let's check out these 15 wonderful illustrations and don't forget to tell us which one is your favorite in the comments!
