Disney+ Has Changed A Scene in ‘Lilo and Stitch’, And A Hardcore Disney Fan Discovers This Weird Change

Carolyn Mullet

If you are a huge fan of Disney Movies, we are sure that you are not strange to ‘Lilo & Stitch’, a cute animated film with a fantastic soundtrack of Disney. The great movie is set in Hawaii about an alien looking for his people. Lilo is the nice and lonely girl who mistakes he is an ugly dog and brings him home. Needless to say, her life is full of chaos and surprises.
However, when Lilo and Stitch is streaming on Disney+, the editors at Disney have secretly changed a scene - the one in which Lilo is hiding from Nani in a dryer. They changed the dryer in to a regular cabinet because they didn’t want to encourage any little kids to get into dangerous dryers that could hurt them.

This isn't the first time that Disney has changed and scrubbed unsavory, outdated scenes. However, not everyone can notice these changes. But if someone is a hard-core Disney fan, they can easily discover these weird changes, even the smallest ones.
Recently, one eagle-eyed Disney fan, @jamieruadh32, posted a video about a scene in the film ‘Lilo & Stitch' on TikTok, pointing out that the original DVD version differs from the Disney+ streamable version. Scroll down to check it out!
As you can see in the current Disney+ streamable version, Lilo hides in a cupboard, covered by a pizza box.

But in the original DVD version, Lilo clearly hides in a dryer.
