Andres moved to Miami in 2008 to attend college, and in 2009 he began creating adorable animal illustrations. He’s done art with references to religion or politics but they got intense enough to be gotten rid of. He loves reading amusing comics that other people can identify with, after all. His ‘Wawawiwa’ series was inspired by his desire to build a place where people might have a good time and put their problems behind them. It may have already occurred to you that many of these cartoons include little to no text, so the interpretation that each reader makes of them will be unique.

Besides comics, he also worked on a graphic novel, “When Sharks Attack with Kindness,” about Shark, Avi, Guy, and a large ensemble of sea creatures.
