Before the Internet existed, youngsters from earlier generations had devoured every comic released in vintage publications. Comics are barely handwritten, and the development of graphic tablets has taken over almost the entire creative process. From the community of new cartoonists, Skeleton Claw who has over 50K followers on social media is the “mad” genius!
Skeleton Claw (Andy) has always taken pleasure in creating clay sculptures and drawings. In his first year of school, he started drawing as a means to pass the time. He also believes that his feelings toward drawing are fairly comparable to his feelings around taking showers. Everything—whether the conversation with friends or long walks—serves as inspiration for the artist. Usually, he works on a single comic for two to three hours, but it might take much longer because he needs to change and redraw the same idea several times.
Andy’s hardest task has been learning to ignore what others say. Like many other artists, when he began creating comics, he went through a lot of criticism, which demotivated him. He now makes an effort to keep a gap between his actions and what others may think of them. In order to share this with his own followers, he pushed them to use as little plastic as possible.
