The artist Samuel Chevé lives with his family in Paris, France. Under the artist name “LAMUSE”, he dedicates himself to a mash-up of characters from two prominent studios, Disney and Marvel, two names that are too familiar to all of us. Characters such as Elsa, Anna, Flynn, and members of The Incredibles are transformed into totally new versions, and the artist even reused some of them. His works often are based on some similarities between the two characters. For example, Queen Elsa in Frozen and "The Scarlet Witch" Wanda both cast spells with their hands.
"I have several approaches. Either the characters have the same personality or the same power. Or I find some way to connect them (Mr. Incredible as Thanos and Violet as Gamora: 2 things in this one. Violet is a daughter like Gamora, and Gamora is green and Violet is a color.) Or sometimes my work is based on a pun. I love to find a concept in the story before I start working," Samuel says.
The artist uses Photoshop and Illustrator to create his awesome series. "I use my skills in photomontage to create original Posters or to divert existing posters," he shares.
Samuel engages in "the design and implementation of activation campaigns for 360 clients and prospects (food, motorcycle, childhood, ...)" at “La Kitchen” in Paris. At the same time, he devotes himself to his Disney-Marvel series and has earned over 64k followers on Instagram, where he shares his works.
