'Wednesday' Season 2: Potential Season 2 On Netflix Is Coming

'Wednesday' is now streaming after months of anticipation, and with only eight episodes in the first season, people are asking if there will be another one to complete her narrative. After all, she did type "The End?" in the previous episode. Here's what we know about a possible season 2.

Not officially. Co-creator Alfred Gough shared in an interview that he and collaborator Miles Millar have been discussing it. “Miles and I are talking amongst ourselves about it. There's more that you can explore in the world of the Addamses,” he said.
Even though the series has not yet been picked up, it smashed Netflix's streaming record with 341.2 million hours of viewing immediately after its premiere on Wednesday. Stranger Things had previously held the record with 335 million hours during the first week of its fourth season.

If season 2 is approved, Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, as well as her parents Gomez and Morticia Addams, played by Luis Guzmán and Catherine Zeta-Jones, would undoubtedly return. Nevermore and its wonderful set design have been quite crucial to the program. And lasses started on Wednesday, so we'd see a continuation of the Nevermore mysteries and regular boarding school.
The show's last few seconds of the eighth episode, however, involve a rekindling of Wednesday's feud with the school's popular Siren. Wednesday getting threatening anonymous messages from her "first stalker," and a shot of Tyler transitioning into his Hyde character in the back of a black vehicle. We have a new enemy and the continuation of another monster's narrative, both of which might be explored further in a future second season.

Laurel's endeavor to rid the world of misfits did not go as planned. Instead, the villain was stung by bees, and Wednesday appears to have killed her. Following the premiere of the program, cast members suggested that Ricci would feature in future seasons.

Gough and Millar confirmed their plans to expand the role Wednesday's family plays in the show, telling TVLine in November 2022, "We felt like we just touched the surface with those characters, and the actors are so amazing in those roles."
Millar added: "Catherine is, I think, an iconic Morticia. The relationship between Wednesday and Morticia is also essential to the show. And the idea that Wednesday is trying to forge her path outside the family is so important.”

#6. Will There Be A 'Wednesday' Season 3?

Millar revealed that they have a few seasons already mapped out for the show. "For us, it's always looking at the future, and when we sit down to create a show, it's looking at multiple seasons, ideally," he explained.
"That's never expected, but that's the anticipation that hopefully, the show is successful. So you always lay out at least three or four seasons' worth of potential storylines for the characters. It can evolve and change," he said, adding, "We certainly have a pretty clear runway of what we want to do in future seasons".
