‘The Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special’ Is Gonna Be Comedic And Heartfelt 

The Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special is a Christmas special movie about the chaotic and crazy Guardians. Previously, the official trailer has been released and caught fans’ attention.

#1. The Trailer Has Revealed Its Plot

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special trailer premiered on October 26, 2022. From what it’s revealed, the special film is going to be about an oddly hilarious journey of the Guardians to Earth to find Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord a present for Christmas. Apparently, Peter Quill is extremely depressed after Gamora’s disappearance. Therefore, his companions decide to do something magical for this special occasion. This will certainly be a heartwarming and touching family story. Previously, their bond was well demonstrated through the first and the second movies. This time, eventually, their bond gets a chance to get even tighter. 

#2. There Will Be Several Guest Stars

From the trailer, Kevin Bacon has a tragic showup. In the franchise, he is mentioned as the star of Footloose, one of Quill’s favorite movies of all time. Therefore, the Guardians consisting of Pom Klementieff’s Mantis and Dave Bautista’s Drax are seen breaking into his mansion to kidnap him as a present for Peter. Besides, Old 97 is also mentioned in the official press release among the cast members. Therefore, there is a high possibility that the group is also in the movie. 
Alongside these cameo stars, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special cast will also include the actors and actresses we have been familiar with. These are Karen Gillan (Nebula), Bradley Cooper (voicing Rocket), Vin Diesel (voicing Groot), Sean Gunn (Kraglin) and Michael Rooker (voicing Yondu - well seemingly he will be brought back somehow). Also, the three stars that are mentioned above will also reprise their roles. 
Talking about her performance in this James Gun’s movie, Klementieff says “It was really funny because I would do things and then ask James [Gunn], ‘Am I doing too much…? Am I over the top?’ And he was like, ‘No, no, no! It’s the holiday special, go crazy.”. Expectedly, the movie will be filled with hilarious moments in a touching story that reveals many things about the third feature movie in the Guardians franchise, The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Marvel Studios announced earlier that the movie will premiere on May 5, 2023, after Ant-Man 3. Each movie is the finale of its own franchise.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special release date is November 25, 2022. Which means there is only about a week left until we might catch the movie on Disney+. The film is also the first special, festive movie that will be available to stream on this streaming platform. Until then, we might have to wait or just simply rewatch the first two movies. In Thor: Love and Thunder, the stars of the Guardians also have a quick and comedic appearance at the beginning of the sequel.
